This Privacy Policy explains how Next Level Handyman LLC ("Next Level," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our website, online forms, phone calls, text messages, email, estimates, invoices, projects, and customer service. It does not apply to a third party's independent website, app, or service.

Information we collect

Contact and identity information may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing or billing address, service address, and the name of a property owner, tenant, company, or other authorized contact.

Project and property information may include the requested service, descriptions of the property or problem, measurements, access instructions, scheduling preferences, estimates, approvals, change orders, warranty information, communications, and photos or videos you send or that we take for project documentation.

Transaction information may include quoted and invoiced amounts, payment status, transaction identifiers, and limited billing details. Payment card or bank-account data is generally collected and processed directly by our payment processor rather than stored by us in full.

Website and device information may include IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, form interactions, dates and times, and cookie or similar identifiers. The exact data depends on the website, hosting, analytics, security, scheduling, and advertising tools in use.

Communications information includes the content of messages, call notes, voicemail, text messages, emails, reviews, survey responses, and customer-service records. Please do not send highly sensitive information that we have not requested.

Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending non-promotional communications needed to respond to you, perform requested work, complete a transaction, address safety, or meet a legal obligation.

Project photos and video

We may create or retain images to document existing conditions, measurements, work progress, completed work, warranty questions, or disputes. We use identifiable images for public marketing only when we have permission. When practical, we avoid or remove names, addresses, faces, license plates, family photos, security details, and other unnecessary identifiers before public use.

You may withdraw permission for future marketing use by contacting us. Withdrawal does not require us to recall printed material already produced or remove content that another person independently copied or shared, but we will honor the request for materials we control when reasonably practicable.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including to manage active and completed projects, honor warranties, maintain financial and tax records, comply with insurance or legal requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type and legal obligation. We may delete, anonymize, or aggregate information when it is no longer reasonably needed.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and our business. No website, email, text message, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because no uniform standard applies to all websites, we do not currently respond to that signal unless required by law. If the website recognizes a legally required browser-based opt-out preference, that preference will be handled as required.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are directed to adults arranging work for a property and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child provided information to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

Third-party websites and services

Links or integrations for payment, scheduling, reviews, social media, maps, manufacturers, suppliers, or other third parties are governed by those parties' privacy practices. We encourage you to review their notices before providing information. We are not responsible for a third party's independent privacy or security practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. The revised policy will be posted with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated in another reasonable way when required by law.
